Amit Rikhy is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Carlyle Airport Group (CAG) Holdings, LLC, The Carlyle Group’s dedicated U.S.-based investment arm for airport infrastructure investment opportunities globally and a portfolio company of the Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund. Amit has over 25 years of airport investment and management experience and has led over 50 airport P3 transactions globally, including key US airport P3 transactions. Amit has been directly involved in a number of US P3 airport transactions, including Chicago Midway, LaGuardia, Stewart, and Indianapolis.

Before joining CAG, Amit was the President and CEO of CCR USA, CCR Group’s international subsidiary. Prior to CCR USA, he was founder and CEO of Sigma Infrastructure Partners, and Senior VP at Airports Worldwide, where he serves as a Director on all of AW’s airport boards, including as Chairman of TBI US Operations, which included five management contracts at US airports and a long term lease at Orlando Sanford, one of the first US airport P3s. His experience also includes leading airport transactions globally for Vantage Airport Group and Airport Group International.

Amit holds a degree in economics from University of Virginia and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.

Chief Strategy Officer

Ginger Evans serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of CAG Holdings, LLC.  In this role, Ginger is responsible for providing infrastructure and technology solutions for aviation investments. During her career, Ginger has been instrumental in leading a number of airport projects, including building a new Global Terminal and three new concourses at O’Hare International Airport; providing critical airfield improvements at O’Hare with improved configuration to allow significant expansion of the terminal core; and managing the first terminal investments at Midway International Airport in nearly 2 decades, which included expansion of security checkpoints, revitalized and expanded shopping/dining offering for travelers, and expanded terminal parking garage.

Prior to CAG, Ginger served as the Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation and Vice President at Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Transportation at Parson Corporation and Principal, Transportation at Carter Burgess, along with a number of other senior roles in the private sector. Ginger serves on the Executive Committee of the Transportation Research Board and the Board of Director’s Technical Committee for AINDA Energia & Infraestructura in Mexico.

 

Ginger holds a Bachelor and Masters in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.

Marc McGrady

Director of Project Development and Financing

Marc McGrady serves as the Director, Project Development and Financing of CAG Holdings, LLC.  In this role, Marc is responsible for the development and execution of projects and project financing.  Marc’s financing experience includes the $2.4bn LGA Central Terminal P3 financing, the largest US P3 transaction at the time. Marc has managed terminals, hangars and maintenance facilities for JetBlue, United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Lufthansa, Korean, JAL and Air France.

Previously, Marc was the Director of Business Development at CCR USA.  Prior to CCR USA, Marc was a Vice President at Citigroup, where he provided municipal investment banking services for U.S. airports, airlines and private airport operators. During his ten years at Citigroup Municipal Division, he worked on a variety of advisory and financings totaling over $10 billion. Additionally, he was directly involved with the Great Hall Privatization Project at Denver International Airport and Delta’s $5bn redevelopment of Terminal C/D at LGA. In addition to traditional airport municipal financings, he has extensive special facility financing experience on behalf of domestic and international airlines.

Marc holds a degree in Finance from the University of Florida.

Nathan Read

Chief Legal Officer

Nathan is the Chief Legal Officer of CAG Holdings, LLC (CAG) where he manages all legal aspects of the business. Nathan has nearly 20 years legal experience on large, cutting edge projects and related financings as both external and in-house counsel.  His background includes extensive P3 experience both domestically and globally, including representing an institutional investor in numerous international airport investments. Most recently, Nathan was involved with leading taxable and non-taxable financings for Transurban’s North American toll roads.

Prior to joining CAG, Nathan was Associate General Counsel at Transurban (USA) and served as legal lead with respect to the development and financing of Transurban’s North American toll road network. Before that, Nathan was an Assistant General Counsel at Aegon Asset Management, a role where he advised the business on a wide variety of investments, with a focus on P3 and infrastructure transactions, as well managed high-dollar securities litigation. Nathan began his legal career in private practice at Skadden, Arps and Latham & Watkins, where he represented sponsors, lenders and financial investors in a wide variety of project development and finance transactions.

Nathan received a BA degree from Georgetown University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Chief of Staff

Krystal J. Brumfield is the Chief of Staff of Carlyle Airport Group (CAG) Holdings, LLC, The Carlyle Group’s dedicated U.S.-based investment arm for airport infrastructure investment opportunities globally and a portfolio company of the Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund. As Chief of Staff, Krystal is responsible for leading collaboration among CAG’s cross-functional teams to ensure effective and streamlined performance to advance the development, implementation and execution of corporate priorities and strategic initiatives.

From 2016 to 2019, Krystal served as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), a non-profit established in 1984 to promote the full participation of minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises in airport contracting. As President & CEO, Krystal provided leadership to AMAC’s strategic planning process and implemented new programmatic strategic initiatives. She was recognized for driving growth and innovation at AMAC and was named in the top 25 of “Women in Power Impacting Diversity” by DiversityPlus Magazine in 2018 as well as awarded “Outstanding Woman in Law” by Hofstra University School of Law in 2019. Krystal currently serves as Vice Chair of the DC Water and Sewer Authority Board of Directors, appointed by Mayor Muriel Bowser.

A graduate of Southern University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting, Krystal earned a Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center, and obtained a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Stephen Cheung is a director at Carlyle Airport Group (CAG) Holdings, LLC. In this role, Stephen is responsible for leading business development efforts as well as asset management and implementation of business plans.

Prior to joining CAG, Stephen was at Airports Worldwide, Inc., where he was responsible for asset management in Europe and driving value of airport investments. He was also at Vantage Airport Group, where he held similar roles of increasing responsibility for business development and asset management. Stephen has been involved in investment and operational activities at over 15 airports, globally. He began is airport career at Vancouver International Airport in the commercial development.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from The University of British Columbia.

Jing joined CAG as an Associate in November 2019 and focuses primarily on financing existing and new business opportunities. Prior to CAG, Jing worked as an investment banking associate on the infrastructure project finance desk at Societe Generale structuring debt solutions for North American P3s. Her main responsibilities included financial modeling, debt capacity assessment, capital structure optimization, and due diligence.

Jing holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Michael joined CAG as an Associate in October 2019. He primarily assists CAG leadership in commercial and planning development, project management and sourcing new business opportunities. Prior to CAG, Michael worked at Landrum & Brown, a global aviation planning and development firm. While at L&B he took part in projects involving forecasting, airport capacity evaluation, airside operational planning and ground transportation planning and research. Prior to L&B, he worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, both at LaGuardia Airport on the airport-wide Redevelopment Program, and at the agency’s headquarters for the Chief Aviation Strategy Officer.

Michael holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Infrastructure Policy and Certificate in Infrastructure Project Management and Finance from Cornell University in addition to a Bachelor of Arts from George Mason University.
